Fracture Prediction of Third Generation Advanced High Strength Steels Using Hosford-Coulomb Damage Model

چکیده

The latest demands in reduction of emissions compel the automobile industry to lighten structure vehicles using third generation advanced high strength steels. Due novelty these steels, there is a need characterize its fracture behavior during forming process. This paper presents study strain field, crack locus and instant failure for 980 grade steel defined tests with two specimens. Numerical simulations experiments have been performed evaluate compare obtained results this steel. implemented Hosford-Coulomb damage model use extended finite element method predict occurrence. According results, numerical simulation predicts similar experimental tests. Failure material shows sensitivity evolution law.
